I would sure like it if basketball would announce signings like football does. It seems like we wait weeks or sometimes months to get information about a basketball signing.

I just want to point something out, but Ryan's NLI is unsigned. Which means he is fine and didn't break any rules. Just taking a picture of his NLI. Pretty dang sweet!! Exciting to add these guys.

Umm I have seen better D being played by the Washington Generals vs The Globetrotters than what I saw in that video.

Another great recruiting class to go along with an already great team. With an open scholarship, it gives us all sorts of possibilities for next year and beyond. The future looks to be quite bright for our program. This is the first year, in a long time, that we have had an announcement on the first day of the signing period.

Don't forget about Ryan Van Pelt. Even though he is on a mission, missionaries do sign and send their NLI's back at this time if they will be back next season.

Weber does have, after Ryan, 1 scholarship left. Does coach save it for next year 2015, or does he sign a JC this spring? If the Wizard can get a good looking JC or Transfer to sign that would be awesome. I'm hoping we can get a Transfer. I'm hoping the Cats will have plenty of offense for 2014 with the loss of Berry and Big Tres.

Is the plan to have all 4 play next year or to redshirt one or two? We have a lot of talent on the court and coming in next year. Should we start stockpiling talent? Which player out of the four has the chance to really take us to the next level? It's great to see the coaches so excited!

There are always surprises in how a prospect will develop over the year before they actually enroll. The sure bet to be an immediate impact is Jefferson. He and Senglin are going to be a dynamic guard duo. Braxton also has a chance to contribute right away. Braxton, Richardson, and Hunter's year over development will determine how much they will be able to contribute next year. Red shirting, or not, is between the coach, the player, and the parents of the player. Those choices aren't made until the season is about to start. There are just too many variables to make those kind of calls now.

You could take those 4 plus Van Pelt and place in the top 3 or 4 of our league. :thumb: :thumb:

All 4 of these guys look like they could end up being great players for us, but you never know. Jeremiah Jefferson looks to be the most ready and the headliner of the group. Zach Braxton is going to be very good. Hayden Hunter looks like a good option to back up Senglin, but I have a feeling though that of the 4 Ryan Richardson is going to be the steal of the class. I just watched another highlight reel of him and he looks very impressive. He does need to add some weight and muscle. He might be in line for a Redshirt. He is listed at 6'4 and 160. That's really skinny, but I'm very impressed with what I have seen and read about this kid. One article I read said he was offered by Utah State. Take that Aggies. :-D I'm going to come back here in about 3 years and brag about how I was right about him.
