Any possibility that Eastern signs any transfers this year?

With the recent announcement of Virginia's KT Harell and James Johnson leaving their program, I'm wondering who else may transfer before the second semester begins and if there is any possibility Eastern will pursue any transfers? There is a German player (Mooninghof) on Gonzaga who's playing time has reduced significantly of late? It appears Eastern has also shown interest in high school seniors Aamahd Walker and Adam Lacey. I guess only time will tell.

I could see them maybe going after one, but not more than that. I think we are going to need guys that can play immediately and not have to sit out a year. I also am not sure how many scholarships are available between the guys we lost this year and the guys that were already signed to come in next season.

It will be interesting as Coach inherited a bunch of srs and jrs. I thinks we have some overseas kids coming in. A 5-9 guard is one I am aware. It will be good for coach to get his own players in here. Not sure what Earlywine brought in is good enough. I hope so. Time will tell.

I think they could afford a couple transfers only because they already have a ton of guys coming in... two redshirt transfers right now (Crogsile and Seifarth) who will be eligible next year, and 5 recruits already...

@1990: if you arent sure Earlywine's recruits are good enough, you havent been paying attention. One of them was the 2nd best player in the conference and transferred to a Pac-12 school. Plus 2 of his guys (Colimon and Ederaine) are on their way to all-conference honors this year, and a third (Forbes) is clearly good enough to be a started on a winning Big Sky team (he is leading us in minutes played). If you include Tremayne and Griffin, I would say that is a pretty good core of guys. By the way, it looks like we are headed for a top-3 finish (if we continue to play a little defense without fouling, and cut out the selfish play by Chiv) in the conference with the heavy lifting being done by Earlywine's recruits.

wonder why with those choice recruits we didn't have a better record than 10-20? Perhaps they were to young and not enough of them...

Good point. But I think we had a rash of injuries last year and a bunch of sophomores. And no seniors. Older players, if they are good, typically win. We finished well enough and it was a good springboard for this year. Hopefully Coach can keep up the good work. Looking forward to seeing how we do tonight.
