• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.
  • Hi Guest, want to participate in the discussions, keep track of read/unread posts and more? Create your free account and increase the benefits of your eGriz.com experience today!
  • Guest, do want an ad free experience on BigSkyFans.com among other benefits? Upgrade your account today!

Thanks for the continued support. Cheers!

Think that maybe Weber got the better of it now than they would have been if they were on the road in the NIT?

Sure Weber having a higher RPI than 3 of the top #1 seeds and two of the #2 seeds and not getting an invite is a major slap in the face, and an insult to everyone associated with Weber State, but getting a home game and possibly getting home court throughout the CIT tournament could be a very good deal. The chance we could get 5 more home games and win the CIT looks better to me than a round one loss on the road in the NIT.

I say lets go GET SOME AND WIN THE WHOLE THING

The problem with the non-NCAA tournaments is that the best teams don't necessarily win. The teams that were expecting and hoping to get into the NCAA tournament usually play poorly and with little energy - they are demoralized and don't give a crap.

The teams that are excited about being in any tournament usually do better - they hustle and try to win. At this point, it is mostly about effort and execution.

If Weber plays with energy and determination, they could win the entire tournament - if not, then they will certainly lose in the first or second round.

I am not sure where Weber is right now (calling Dr. Freud?) Where is this team psychologically and emotionally? It will be an entire week since they lost to UM - is that enough time to recover and get your head straight? Hopefully the leaders of this team will take over.
Bull, Dame, Mahorny need to get that "look in their eye" and the rest of the team will follow.
