Anybody getting worried?

Weber is 0-3, losing to WAC, Big West, and Independent teams. Meanwhile, N Colorado is 5-0, including wins over WAC (Hawaii) and Mt. West (Air Force) teams, and Montana is 3-1, including a win over a WAC team (Boise St). And Sac St just went on the road and beat a Pac-10 (Oregon St) team. Weber better pull their heads out before conference play begins. The Sky is looking much improved.

Yeah, it's a little scary seeing our competition doing so well, but at the same time, it's good for Weber. Look what Boise State and Hawaii (a few years ago) did to elevate the WAC in football. The WAC is now viewed as a legitimate non-BCS football conference when it was a joke not too long ago. If the Big Sky teams keep beating the bigger schools on the hardwood, the same thing could happen with basketball.

A team tends to match the level of their competition. So if the other Big Sky teams are really as good as they look right now, expect Weber to rise as well.

I'm not to worried. Seattle may be an Independent, but they have two NBAer's sons on the team (Levier and Berry) and a guy who is going to be in the NBA (Garcia). Also, in all reality, Weber could be 3-0. They had two absolutely horrible shooting games and then played an offensive juggernaut (Seattle is going to win over 20 games this season). Also, Santa Barbara and Utah State are both the teams to beat in their respective conferences, and no matter what their fans say, Weber should have won both of those games by 10 or more points, especially Santa Barbara (They shot 21 more FT's than Weber).

However, it is kinda worrisome that UNC is 5-0. They have a great team and a very good coach. They are one of the most improved and best teams in the conference. Thankfully, he's in Colorado. When Air Force fires their coach at the end of the season he'll be saught after more so than Rahe. Montana...not to worried, Tinkle will screw it up. He can recruit and he's a great guy, but he isn't the best coach. I'm a little worried about ISU and PSU, but not that much. And we should all be happy that Sac is playing better. It helps out the conference.

Weber will get going. I wouldn't be to surprised if they go on a little winning streak in the next couple of weeks.

The Pac-10 isn't that strong this season. Washington, Cal and Arizona State are the only teams in the league that have anything this season. Granted, WSU, UCLA, and Standford will each get going eventually, but right now the Pac-10 is a shell of what it use to be.

UM also got beat by Denver...

The Wizard doesnt really care about what other teams are doing. In fact, he likes the fact that the other schools are looking at our record and thinking that Weber is not as good as the pre-season picks. That way we can go in knowing that we can win, and the opposing team thinking that all they have to do is show up and they will beat us. In fact, one of the assistant coaches at Montana told coach "to hang in there and things will get better."

So they are intentionally not winning games so that teams will take them lightly.

I guess so

Im not worried at all, although this team started out 0-3, its not like we had the easiest competition. This team gets better every week, and even though we may lose to BYU, IM predicting a victory in the Purple Palace over the University of Utah Runnin Utes.

Give the team some time, and when this team starts clicking, WATCH OUT
