APR Penalties for Men's Hoops?

Is Idaho State currently down one or two scholarships due to APR issues? The reason I ask is this...

Departed team members from last year on scholarship:

Brunswick
Busma
Lacey
Gawrzydek
Gilchrest

Scholarship Signees for this season:

Banipal
Kostur
Morgan

Maybe I am seeing this wrong, but it appears that ISU lost five and gained three, does anyone know the answer? If so, stemming attrition during transition will be paramount or things could get FOOTBALL sticky.

No APR penalties as of right now. It is true that we are down 2 scholarships. 1 from when Cameron Pearce quit a week into school and 1 that the coaches didn't give out.

So, Pearce had started classes? I think that means that he will count against the APR. Any possibility that ISU is preparing for penalties? Not trying to ignite a negative fire here, but not giving out two scholarships seems a bit weird. Especially considering that Swanson has proven worthy of one.

Cub bets, that ISU gets hit with a penalty of some sort in the spring. With 925 being the threshold, that single year score can really hurt things down the road.

Idaho State Athletic Department 2009-10 APR Scores:
Multi-Year Score Single-Year Score

Football 888 883
Men's Basketball 923 870

I don't believe that Pearce counts against APR. I could be wrong though. 1 more piece of information that could potentially hurt the APR: Brandon Glanz quit today.
