• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Are we changing radio stations again?

Larry H. Miller group is buying 1280/97.5 the zone. Might not affect football as much as it would affect basketball because I'm guessing the Jazz will take precedence over any Weber State games. I am guessing that we are changing radio stations this year. Could be just for basketball. I know sometimes Utah State is on 1280 other times it's on a Logan station. So maybe we will go on a secondary station. Or maybe we will continue to have 1280. It will be interesting to see what happens. Does anyone have any more information on this? I found 2 articles pertaining to the main story. But nothing pertaining to Weber.

If we are, please go back to 1430 KLO - they are SOOOOO much better than the current crapola station.
Much stronger signal in the Weber/Davis county area and they actually care about Weber.

I think the original contract with 1280, was for 2-5 years. Not totally sure about the full duration though. The administration, AD, liked 1280 more than 1430, for two reasons: 1. The hope that Weber could reach more fans and/or create more fans; 2.1280 focuses exclusively on sports. 1430 isn't the best for a statewide/regional audience.
