Are we seeing the last of Lillard?

Apparently no less than 11 NBA scouts and a handfull of GMs were in attendance for Saturday's game at Portland State, most of which making a special trip just to watch Lillard. I have a bad feeling the remaining games on WSU's schedule (plus Big Sky tourney and NCAA tourney) might be the last we see of Dame.

It is a very good possibility, but with as sad as it will be to see him leave, Damian must do what's right for him, and I thank him for everything he has done for this team and this school.

Now go win the Big Sky and it's tourney Damian

Yes congrats Mr. Arky

Agree with Wildcat. Damian will do what is best for him, and as Wildcat fans we need to support him in his decision. Of course, I'm biased. I'd love to watch him play another season for the Cats. I truly believe, if he stays for his SR year, he will end up being an All-American and a definite Lottery Pick. If he goes at the end of this year, he will get drafted and start his NBA career. Either way, he will be in the "league" for sometime. I'm just glad that D-Lill is a Cat. Once a Cat always a Cat.

this is a good thing, and he should go if he can after this season. we have been fortunate enough to even had him this long. this is a good thing for wsu for him to go to the nba.

just make sure to not miss any games and enjoy the season and send him off with some packed arenas.

at the psu game, which there have been scouts at a lot of our games, i think of the 9-11 scouts mentioned, the GM's were included. when we played utah state in logan last yr, danny ainge walked past me before the game. i think he is the gm of the celtics but i dont follow nba management. he was there to see dame. i have heard there have been scouts at our games all this year and last.

Most mock drafts and NBA sites I read peg him as a first round pick as of now... if that consensus stays, I think it would be smart for him to take the guaranteed money and go to the draft. It would obviously be awesome to get another year of him in the Big Sky, but for him, going pro might be the best option.

Couldn't agree more. His high level of play doesn't seem to be slowing down, so I highly doubt that draft status would change for the worse. I wonder if WSU runs the table, wins its tourney and perhaps scores an upset in the first round of the NCAA tourney, if Lillard could jump into lottery pick status.
