• Hi Guest,

    We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

    With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.
  • Hi Guest, want to participate in the discussions, keep track of read/unread posts and more? Create your free account and increase the benefits of your eGriz.com experience today!
  • Guest, do want an ad free experience on BigSkyFans.com among other benefits? Upgrade your account today!

    Simply click your profile name > account upgrades > BigSky Club > choose between the year long subscription (two free months) or month to month

    Thanks for the continued support. Cheers!

The EWU coaching staff has a plan for August, and so do I, so tell your friends:

I will be at all practices except the weekend sessions on 8/11, 8/12, 8/25 and 8/26 (hey, gotta mow the lawn sometime!) and will file full reports or feature stories for each practice, both at spokesman.com in the evening and in print the next morning.

Most evenings after practice, I will file at SportsLink with my observations.

During practices, I plan to send frequent Tweets, so follow me at @srjimalllen ;

Additionally, I will try to take a few pics and videos, and will also pass those along via Twitter and YouTube.

See you at the Inferno!

Jim,
I think your Twitter name has one too many l's in it. I was able to find you under @srjimallen. Thanks for the updates

Finally, it's football season! Jim-- can't thank you enough for the steady drum beat of coverage you've provided. Makes being an out-of-town fan much easier. :notworthy:

...no was standing around on crutches, with LB Zach Johnson (here is his interview with the media before practice), WR Brandon Kaufman, RB Demetrius Bronson and OL Steve Forgette all 100 percent. … The only apparent casualty is LB Jordan Pulu, who has an injured meniscus suffered while working out alone during the summer. An MRI is scheduled for Thursday.

They all looked sharp (here is a brief video) but transfer Kyle Padron was being tested by some very aggressive coverages during the 7-on-7 drills that concluded practice. Meanwhile Vernon Adams threw some nice balls, especially over the top, and still showed mobility despite picking up a few pounds of muscle...
