It looks like it is possible for the FBS to schedule a game at the FCS. Somehow, they must have got approval from the NCAA. I'm sure Navy's independent status has something to do with it. I think it's time we ask BYU for a 2 for 1. Maybe our game would technically be at a neural sight, but we would still have the Cougars at Stewart Stadium. It sounds crazy but it would generate a lot of excitement for the program.

I'd rather have a winnable game in Ogden. Why not ask Utah State for this kind of deal. They're closer geographically and Weber has a much better chance of beating them.

Weber and Utah State used to play a yearly series (up in Logan) back in the 70s and early 80. Too bad we couldn't get something like that going again.

Right, BYU agreeing to play Weber in Ogden! And USU playing at Stewart Stadium? Even if it's closer & odds better for a Wildcat win...I remember the 1 victory in what - 11 tries ? (in a snowstorm as well). Ain't gonna happen! Any FBS state team playing WSU is a "practice" warm up football game for them & a "payoff" game for the Wildcats. For those of you who like the in-state beatings from them, be glad they will consider scheduling Weber at their place for the opening season game! :ohno:
