I think this is going to be a tough game for the eags. Sounds like Sac is healthy again and they beat some pretty good teams earlier in the year when they were fully healthy. They beat Arizona St. and only lost to Stanford by 10. They just beat the Griz 83 - 79. I don't like the looks of this. Yes, we are hot right now, but the road has not been friendly to us against decent teams. Tip-off in 15 minutes. Looks like it's being streamed. I'll try to put a link up soon.

go eags!

Looking good so far but they have shown the ability to mount a comeback. If the Eagles cool off on the 3's and they quit turning it over it will be a close second half.

Ya, we can't let up. Sac can and will come back if we take our foot off the gas. Petal to the metal, D-it-up, and finish this one strong!

Haha this Sac State announcer is having a hard time hiding his dislike for Venky.
Ya, don't think he likes Venky much. Venky is owning this game though. Fans are harassing McBroom and Venky bad but those two are dominating Sac right now. Hope they keep it up. Our players seem to respond well to harassment. LESSON LEARNED = DON'T MAKE VENKY MAD!

Anyone else notice we don't take a lot of mid range j's? It's either a three or a layup. Just seems like we pass up a lot of open 15 footers.

I personally think that is great coaching.

up 10 with 53 sec left and 4 of 5 starters on the court...what is Coach thinking??????????
I think Hayford remembers when we came back against Idaho last year down 11 points with a 1:33 left.

Sac played pretty well and did a good job of getting back into the game, but we are playing at a different level right now than earlier in the year.

4 point game with :15 left.
I guess that's why you leave the starters out there. I always ask the same question though when we are up big with 2 minutes. 2 minutes can be a LONG time in basketball though.

I would agree. Nobody wants to face the eags right now. HOTTEST team in the Big Sky. If we play any kind of defense we shouldn't lose another game. This is the team we knew we could be and that we were talking about becoming at the beginning of the season when we were 5 and 5.
