2011-12: 84,246 after 13 games = 6,480
2012-13: Over 1,000 more fans overall than last yr.

we haven't had 10,000 to a single home game since 2011. we haven't had 11,000 to a game since 1990.

if we do not host i see us averaging 6,700 for 2013 by getting 7k and 8k to the final home games.

if we do host i think we have a shot at getting 11,000 by playing in the title game. it has been many many moons since there was a big sky champ game on a saturday. no more wednesday night

*if we host and get 8k and 11k that could boost us over 7,000 average which should get you top 80 out of 340+ schools. 7k is also bigger than all dedicated big sky bball arena's except montana's which holds 7,300.

1976-77 was the first yr of the dee (12,000). 1962-1976 wsu used the swenson - 5,500.

this list doesn't show last season.

i believe 2008 was the lowest attendance average in wsu history even including the 15 yrs in the swenson gym. :yikes:

2003 was the last yr we averaged over 7,000 for big sky only. thus far with 2 remaining big sky home games we are averaging (60,383/7=) 7,548.

Yikes...I thought the Cats were a pretty fun team to watch in 07-08. Interesting that the fans didn't show up. Hey catcat, wasn't last years total attendance like 103K? Pretty great attendance. First time since the 80s that more that 100K fans showed up to the Dee. At least I think so. The Cats did play 16 games, even if the 16th (also the most games since the early 80s) was only just under 3K (was the highest attended game in the CIT first round, even better than the games in Lolgan).

yes, last yr's 104,000 was a new high since '87. we likely will break 100,000 for the second season in a row with these final 2 home games if we can get 15,000.

the biggest difference this yr and last besides having more games to get to 100k is we have a higher season tkt base. if your season low is nearly 5,000 your doing very well. but yes, when we hoste that CIT game it really screwed our attendance average. we are averaging like 7,000 then that one game of 2,000 killed it. it was a post season game. it didnt get much interest and was against uvu. even though it was the highest attended CIT first rd game it was pretty low turnout.
