From what I have heard, the only reason why the Cats can return back to the 1 FBS game a season schedule is because, A. the Payouts will be greater from the next two FBS matchups (Arizona State 2014, and Oregon State 2015) and B. Because the department, from playing two FBS a year, have been able to save up enough money to make it possible to only have 1 FBS on the schedule per year.

We all knew that this years schedule was going to be brutal, but so far it has been absolutely disheartening. Knowing that a team who was beaten by a Big Sky foe, beat a team that destroyed us doesn't make the upcoming season look that exciting.
