Our first football player run in with the law. Bacon transferred in from Boise State this spring. I'm now wondering if there was anything behind that transfer.
 
An odd story. Ran on Oregonlive yesterday. It's not up now, but I found it using Oregonlive "search". He was indicted as "criminal impersonation". Seems a Sherwood policeman saw two cars pulled over with drivers shouting at each other. Turns out Bacon was one of them; he had pulled the other car over for - he said - erratic driving and speeding. Claimed he was a police officer, and showed a Riverside County badge which turned out to be for a junior probation officer. PSU said they would take no action on him as a student (and football player) until his case is heard.
