Just wanted to give a shout out to the baseball team. They have been playing very well this season and it is refreshing to see the program a few games above .500 at this time in the season.

BTW...they swept the season series with UCFE yesterday.

Indeed, the baseball team is having a good year with lots of offensive production.

And the team did its part to bring Sac State closer to drawing even with UC Davis for the 2011-12 Causeway Cup.

UC Davis has 45 points and Sac State has 40 point in the race.

Mens golf goes for 5 points this Sunday with Davis.
Women's track goes for 5 points against the Aggies on April 27th at Hornet Stadium
and
Mens track goes for 5 points the same day

15 points still up for grabs.

Been quite a come back for the Hornet teams after being behind 35-5 following the football game last November.

Go Hornets!!

Coach Christensen has quietly turned the program around and he is only in his second season. The Hornets recently split a 4 game series with the 25th ranked New Mexico State and went 4-2 against all Aggie opponents. Hopefully the upward climb of the program continues.

Hornets beat Nevada 2-0 in the series opener. That's four wins in a row and the team is now 21-18, 4-3 in the WAC. Nice win guys! Game 2 is tomorrow at 1pm.
