Good to see you back GCM.....really missed your negativity.

Likewise, I really missed the goldilocks pie-in-the-sky attitude of a virgin Hornet fan.

If they clinch, you can be assured that every sports show/talk will be ridiculing the school for their double-wide parboiled portable gym solution.

Gonzo did us proud.

Give PGP credit, he called his shots and has hit pay dirt on pretty much all of them. :notworthy:

As far the BSCT potentially being the Well...well that's all on Gonzo. I'm not too worried about the ridicule as he has had plenty of chances to get the events center built. I'll just be damn happy to see a regular season crown for the Hornets and catching some BSCT action on campus.

Just one more win...

GCM, if you think constantly pointing out the problems and never celebrating the positives is the way to make things better, we have a difference of opinion. I like to look at what is good with a situation and try to build on that. Different strokes for different folks I guess. I hope you have got some enjoyment out of the Hornets this year. If you haven't enjoyed this run then you will never enjoy anything Sac State can do in athletics.

PP,

Yes, the team has done monumental work, congrats to them. Them meaning HC, players, support people.

My viewpoint of Hornet athletics comes from building on the past, say 1988, and not really seeing any movement in the program since then. I was in the crappy gym in 1988 and it is still there! Whatever the outcome for this year, next year it will be back to .500 ball and still playing in the crappy facility.

I view this as a total systematic failure of the school administration to do anything about it. I've been building on the past for 28yrs. and one statistical blip and I am supposed to be singing a Mary Poppins song?

No, you're suppose to thoroughly enjoy this magical run and actually be happy and excited for a change...then go back to regularly GCM programming if the admin doesn't capitalize on this momentum.

This is the best team in Hornet history...ever...and for all we know a once in a lifetime event. Kick back, open a brew and enjoy the ride with a shit-eating grin on your face, 'cause God knows I have been. :D 8-)

I am enjoying this moment with this team and whether we win the championship or not, I am damn proud of how this team has performed. McKinney and Garrity were diamonds in the rough and hopefully Coach Katz can find some more in the future.
