Bee Article on Hurting QB's

I think we'll be alright with Duncan at QB.

In a "glass is half full" sorta way, MBT's injury isn't all bad. If it's deemed season ending, I believe he has a great chance at getting a Medical RS since he only played one full game and some change. This would stagger him out from the rest of our Soph QBs and have him in line for a Senior season as the main guy with a lot of the young guys from this year's team all grow'd up.

I hope it works out like you project, Kadeezy. That's certainly the optimist's view.

However, I'm more inclined to take the pessimist's view with this. I think he'll be denied the medical RS, as those usually go to the big-name schools. I hope I'm wrong, but the NCAA definitely caters to the bloody B(C)$.

Remeber Stephen Sir (San Diego State / NAU Basketball)... It seemed like that guy was around forever (2001-2007)! He he played in 5 seasons with a Medical RS and Transfer Year.

Has anyone else just settled on the fact that all QBs associated with UCLA are doomed to get seriously injured? Right now UCLA is on their 4th stringer from last year and MBT is now down for the count it seems.

It's not just UCLA. Not too long ago, I think it was Arizona starting their 4th stringer against #1 Washington because #2 quit and #1 and #3 got arrested for grand theft auto. Not a good situation to be in.

Injuries happen. They are a part of the game, especially at this level. Just have to persevere: the players, the coaches and the fans.

answering super hornets comment on medical redshirting.
the decision doesnt actually go to the NCAA, it is left to the conference to decide. so theres is no bias over whether u are from a major division 1 school.
