The Bengal great led Idaho State in rushing in 1980 and 1981, and he rushed for two TD's in the national championship game against Eastern Kentucky.
According to Wilson's brother, "he was the Canadian Football League's Most Outstanding Rookie in 1984 and was a star running back at Carson High School, Cal Poly Pomona and Idaho State University."
