Bengals .2

4 straight games at home, and all 4 vs our biggest rivals, people can say that Weber/SUU isnt that big of a rivalry, but if any of you watched yesterday's game, you would agree that it is.

Now we get to take on one of our longest rivals, the Idaho State Bengals.

The Bengals come into the game with a record of 4-18 overall, and a 3-10 BSC record. They are currently in 10th place in front of Portland State (what happened to the vikings???) they are also on a 6 game losing streak and would love nothing more than to break that losing skid against us.

However I dont see ISU having enough to even keep this game competetive, But I have been wrong before. But I dont think I will be this time.

Wildcats cruise to the blowout victory 85-58

I expect ISU to play hard and give us their best game. It just won't be enough. ISU is a much improved team from what they have been the past few years. They are playing with a lot more disiplin. They just don't have the horses to stay with us for a whole game. They won't play to the end of the shot clock as often as SUU did. They will take a few more wild shots and turn it over with a little more regularity. We should dominate the boards and be able to run a bit. We could score in the 90s against ISU.

I think we will roll against them mighty Bengals.

WSU 98 - ISU 68

I agree with what Olds has to say. I think ISU, much like what they did in Poky, will keep it close for most of the first half, but that the Cats will blow the game open in the second half. ISU's biggest problem is that they don't have much of a front court to work with. Their backcourt isn't too bad and they play hard, but they are, in most cases, just over-matched. I do think Evans starts getting the Bungles in a better position within the next few years. He did after all sign players in the Fall something we haven't seen in Poky for almost a decade. I don't know if those signees are any good or not, but that is a step in the right direction.

IF WEBER LEARNS HOW TO SHOOT FREE THROWS WE SHOULD HAVE SWEPT THE MONTANAS! IT'S JUST ANNOYING! THOSE ARE WHAT LOSES CHAMPIONSHIPS!

The first 4,000 fans at the Dee Events Center will receive a white WSU athletics T-shirt. Fans with an America First Credit Union card or a Hill Air Force Base ID can also get four free tickets to the game. Utah Jazz mascot Bear will also perform.

bengals at weber. always a game i look forward too.

weber is 43-9 at home all time vs idaho state. rahe is 5-1 vs isu at home, loss was in 2007.
i think rahe has only lost at home to nau and isu in big sky regular season home games in his 7 yrs w/ weber.
rahe is 54-6 at home vs big sky so that cant be right. there must be 1 more school who has won in ogden in reg season...

Montana State did a few years ago, it was the same year they beat us in the tournament WE hosted

FINISH OFF THE BENGALS! And then let's get on to some serious business Thursday! Weber should be seriously angry that Montana just broke Weber's record win streak. What better way than to STOP THE STREAK at a RAUCOUS DEC! Come on Weber, let's DO THIS!

here's to hoping for bam to go off! nick hansen as a senior dropped 7 3 bombs on isu at the dee. its just a good time to do it.
