Bengals and Penguins Tonight

Idaho State wraps up its four-game homestand tonight against Youngstown State at Holt Arena. Should be a fun matchup. The Penguins don’t have a D-1 win yet under new coach Jerrod Calhoun, but they play an entertaining brand of basketball, ranking 9th in the nation in pace of play. Youngstown is very guard oriented, led by Braun Hartfield, who averages 15ppg and had 33 earlier this year against Canisius; and Cameron Morse, who has scored over 40 points four times in his career.

I’m expecting something of a shootout, with Youngstown ranking near the bottom of the country in defense. Their opponents shoot over 61 percent from two-point range. Should be a fun matchup. Join us at Holt tonight at 7.

ISU discovered another point guard tonight in Novak!

Seriously, whoever is supposed to be developing him is failing.

Every team has double teamed him, and he can't handle it. So, change things up, Evans! Quit doing the same thing over and over but expect different results. He should have manhandled the D-2's and the team tonight.
