ISU will add a 7-4 transfer center and a 6-9 walk-on forward this fall, and may get guard Phyllip Taylor back in the program.

Jakub Kusmieruk--I believe...not to many 7-4 college athletes out there...

If this is the transfer (and it was reported he was transferring from UCF), he'd certainly help plug up the middle...

The Journal has a photo of the new big guy at the Holt Hoorah, holding up a little girl so she can dunk:

Then click on Holt Hoorah and go down near the bottom of the page.

And it's official...

Talk about big man on campus, Idaho State men's basketball welcomes Central Florida's Jakub Kusmieruk (KOOS-meer-uhk) a 7-4 center who hails from Lodz, Poland to the Bengal program. Kusmieruk will be redshirting the 2010-11 season due to NCAA transfer rules, but he will bring tremendous experience and size to practice to challenge his Idaho State teammates.

That's my daughter he's holding up. I've seen him play a couple of times and he will be a great addition to the team. His size completely changes the game on both ends of the floor. It will be fun to watch him develop.
