Bengals Part 2

So, it has been a weird year for ISU. Everyone knew, before the season started, that they had a lame duck coach who was just going through the motions, and that it was going to be a down year for the Bengals. But, fortunately for Bengal fans, they have exceeded expectations and have done better than expected. I have a feeling that Deane Martin might have been brought in by the administration, with OB's support, as a possible replacement. Who knows...my statement is mere conjecture. What I do know is that Martin has his team playing a lot better. Granted the Bengals wins have come against the bottom feeders of the Sky, but to be a Big Sky Tourny team, those are the teams you should beat. It definitely helps that NAU and SAC have imploded this season.

There is a lot of talk about who the new Bengal coach will be. I think they have already found him. Martin, to me, should be the top candidate. He knows how to coach on that level, he understands recruiting and has proven his ability to scout for talent (that was his job before going to ISU) and is doing

This game scares me, (of course what game doesnt at this point?) but seriously, the Bengals are playing better than they have the past few seasons, and we are still injured, we cannot let this Bengals team get up on us, we have to come out strong and punch them in the mouth and keep punching thill the final whistle blows, We cant play like we did last night, we have to be better.

I said I was worried about the Idaho State game up in Pocafellow last season, and we won close to 30, maybe that's a good sign, but we can in no way take this Bengals team lightly.

isu vs unc last night went to double OT. ISU won which was a shocker, they have a lot of OT games over thr yrs but they always lose them. hard to belive isu is 4-4 and in 4th place

How can we not beat the press? How is this not practiced and studied on a daily basis? We have been burned too many time for this garbage. A constant press should result in layups for us.

bull leads all scores in the first half. htat is a surprise but so is them forcing us to play bengal ball. 9 turnovers, thats what we normally do in a game.

toward the end of hte first half we were moving the ball down the court quickly and attempting shots. do that and they wil stop pressing, need a quick dunk.

halftime adjustment and we will be ok. we will get our 4th straight win in the barn.

Of course they practice the press breaker a lot, but Rahe's press breaker is awful. It's the same as Stew's & Usu fans have complained about it for a decade. Frankly I'm surprised it's taken a Big Sky coach this long in the season to hit it with us from the get go. I'm surprised PSU or NAU didn't press us. Attacking the press with our guards would solve it real quick.. :wall:

I was just watching Lilliard shot against San Jose to keep my spirts up. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Wildcats.
