Bengals Radio Network(?)

What's the story with the Bengals Men's team radio coverage? In Idaho Falls, we can barely hear KSEI (930 AM) and it seems to be the only remaining outlet on the radio dial for the ISU ball games. No more 98.1 FM? Never did hear a game or a coaches show on 1230 AM or 1260 AM whichever station it was supposed to be.
Awful signal coverage to say the least.
Internet stream is fine at home but doesn't do much for the car radio while driving around.
At least with the women's games, soccer, and volleyball, KISU-FM has a repeater in the area.

Trust me...your point is well-taken. In the fall...98.1 in Idaho Falls and 1230 AM in Rexburg were purchased by another company...but the agreement to carry ISU games was not included in the sale from the previous owner. Steve in Athletics is trying to work out a deal with other stations to pick us up...but so far nothing has been agreed to.

There is one improvement though...in the past it has been impossible to pick up KSEI's signal inside Holt Arena (AM radio signals cannot get through the metals walls and frame) like FM waves do. Steve did buy us a new mini-transmitter that works like gang-busters inside the dome, and you can now take your radios and listen to our broadcasts on 92.7 F.M.

It's worked really well for the past two games, and you can hear the signal anywhere inside the arena.

As soon as I know anything about new stations...I'll make sure you know.

It appears there will not be a resolution to the radio situation in the Upper Valley until next season. Basically, when those two stations were sold...we were left high and dry.
