Bengals Sweep Montana

For only the second time in the program's history, ISU swept Montana in the regular season with a very solid six point win last night.

Good crowd again really helped the effort!

Back in first place by a half game but now's not the time to let down. Northern Arizona is at Reed Gym Thursday and another good crowd is needed to help the team keep the ball rolling.

Remember fans Thursday's game starts at 5:05PM because of the unusual oddity of having both the men and women playing at home on the same night at two different sites.

Take a little time off early from work if you can and come out to support this gritty, gutty club that gives you everything they've got.

This was an important game for both teams in the standings, but more important for the Bengals, they had to prove they could bounce back from the Montana State shocker. What a crazy game though with ISU outrebounding the GRIZ and scoring 3 times as many points in the paint, while Montana lived (and died) by shooting the 3. Seemed backwards after watching the Montana/ISU games the last few years.

I hope the girls keep it going. I like the way they play and how they've improved their defense and rebounding since last year. It's made a huge difference.
