Best OOC/non instate teams to visit the DEC

Tomorrow we will get to see one of the top mid major programs in the nation visit the DEE. Ken Pom has them ranked at 48 and they have some really impressive wins. I think that this is one of the best non instate teams to play us at home.

Besides the Glenn Robinson Purdue team, what other great teams have visited the DEE Event Center?

They werent GREAT teams by any means but I enjoyed watching us beat up on Air Force, UT-Arlington, Oral Roberts, UC Irvine, Northern Iowa and the game against East Carolina was a classic, regardless of the outcome.

Obviously those were from the bracket buster and CIT, nothing that we scheduled except ORU one other time..

that isnt an easy question to try to answer but we can for sure say they are by far the best ooc home game non in-state team of the rahe era that was scheduled by us.

probably the next best team would have been Nevada in 2003 during Cravens era and we even won. they had a guy that went on to play for the jazz from that team. that was a really good wolfpack era when they were coached by trent johnson and then mark fox. they went to NIT that yr.

last time boise came to ogden they had george carl's son but i think they werent any good.

A games scheduled...hmmm, I'd have to go with the Nevada game 12 years ago. I can't think of a better OOC/non-instate team. SDSU is the best since Perdue.
