With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Better alternatives????

I hate to say this but after thinking about the post season for awhile I wonder whether the Hornets might be better off by NOT winning the auto bid to the Big Dance. What I'm thinking is if we don't get the bid, we could conceivably get a NIT bid where we could possibly win some games and make a bigger impact on outsiders than we would by getting a 16 seed in the NCAA and losing to a 1 seed in the first round. I really want the auto bid but I'm wondering what some of you think about the alterrnative. It may do the program more good with a NIT appearance. What do you think???

I don't think there's any chance Sac can get a bid to the NIT, there RPI is too low and they don't have a signature win. If they continue to play well I believe they would get a bid to the CIT (College Insider Tournament).

I want them to make it to the Big Dance, regardless of being a 16 seed!

This is crazy talk!

First off, 2-4 Million people will watch the first round of the NCAA tournament, more than 10 times the viewership of an opening round NIT game. I don't care who we play, that's huge exposure and big time dough to our athletic program. Plus, I'll be getting my ass to that game, regardless of who or where. Can't say the same for the NIT or CIT (schools have to pay to play this tourney) or whatever the hell...

BTW, regular season champs that lose their conference tourneys are guaranteed an NIT postseason berth...

Go Hornets!

Gosh, had not even thought about this topic until now. Interesting topic and glad it has been brought up.
