Assuming Weber mops the floor with MSU since ISU just did...
9-5 WSU vs 9-5 NAU
WSU trying to avoid a season sweep from the 'Jacks.

Seems like a yearly occurrence except this year neither team has a conference championship on the line. Portland State's definitely good but by no means invincible. The tourney host doesn't seem to win the league all that often. I wouldn't be surprised to see another Jacks-Wildcats BSC championship game.
I found a clip on youtube a while back with WSU-U North Carolina NCAA highlights. I reacquired some old nervous tics while watching Arceneaux and Gill work their magic.
I met Harold Arceneaux here in Great Falls, MT last year. He was playing for the local CBA team at the time. I told him he tore my heart out of my chest on multiple occasions but loved the mini-rivalry out schools had going back in the Howland-Abegglen (spellling?) and Eddie Gill and Harold Arceneaux Arceneaux-Ross Land and Dan McClintock days. He just laughed.
I'm looking forward to listening to Thursday's matchup on the internet. I can't imagine the Wildcats will have much trouble with Montana State tonight and will come into Flagstaff on Thursday with second place on the line. I'm predicting a Lumberjacks sweep and a bit of momentum leading into the conference tourney. Close and hard fought game as usual. 74-71, Jacks!

Ah man, you just jinxed us with that Adras comment!
Weberwildcat, who do you (and other WSU fans) consider your biggest conference rival overall? In football? In basketball? Non-conference? Just wondering.

Indoor games at home have historically made it tough for NAU to play road games in the given snowy, muddy conditions that arise. No one would go to home football games without the dome, though. Too many flatlanders (Phx, Tucson, So Cal) going to school there that gripe about it being too cold when it's 50 out.
Not a good venue for basketball. It doesn't get that loud even when there is a good crowd. It is past time for a real basketball facility on the campus.
Not sure of the upgrades occurring on the dome itself. Looked to be in good shape when I was there in December.
Never been to ISU's Kibbie (or something like that, right?) Dome. Driven though Pocatello multiple times but no interaction with locals to base any opinions on.
