Very early...especially since no one here at Weber knows quite what the team will look like until Spring Ball, but...might as well take a shot at this.

1. Weber
2. MSU
3. UM
4. Cal Poly
5. Eastern
6. SUU
7. PSU
8. NAU
9. UND
10. SAC
11. ISU
12. UC Davis
13. UNCO
YIKES 13!!!

You're not alone. Some Griz fan on egriz picked Weber to win the conference.

Yeah?!? There are Grizz fans who actually think their team isn't automatically #1? Was the Grizz poster sober when he posted?

I'm not being a Homer here. I really think Weber has the most coming back, and lost the least. Yes, the Cats have to replace Oram and Taylor, but as long as Land, Turner, and Robinson are back, I don't think the Cats will have any issues with their line. As for the other players. Webb is a big loss, but is replaceable. Also, John L. isn't a newb who will need a season to get things going. With the talent he has, he will be able to make things happen right away.

and you also have Timoteos x 2 coming back, so we should be decent across the front line. i think Smith will get the TE's more involved which will only help Hoke open up the field more. Change is good..... ingredients are there, let's see what Coach Smith can mix together.

I don't know enough yet about the other Big Sky teams to make a top to bottom ranking list, but I do think SUU has a favorable schedule (as favorable as can be without ISU or UNC). We get you guys at home this year, as well as home games against EWU (who we outgained in yards at their place 2 years ago), MSU, and Sac, and the tough road game is against Montana. We have PSU,UND and UNA on the road as well. With the talent we have returning, and the talent getting back from missions, I predict us winning 3-4 of the 4 at home, and 2-3 of the 4 on the road. Maybe its just me being a homer, but I think this first year in the conference we will have a chance to make some real noise. As for the other teams coming over from the Great West, I rank them next year

1. SUU
2. CalPoly (although with an easier schedule, they end up with more wins)
3. UND
4. Davis

This is what I feel right now

1. Montana
2. Cal Poly ( has the easiest schedule, could easily be #1)
3. Montana State
4. Eastern Washington
5. Weber State (Weber and EWU could easily be swapped)
6. Portland State
7. North Dakota
8. Southern Utah
9. Northern Arizona
10. Sacramento State
11. Idaho State
12. UC Davis
13. Northern Colorado (Davis and NC could also be easily swapped)
