Big Sky Announces New Commissioner

It will be interesting to hear her thoughts on the future of Big Sky football (two divisions? two leagues?) as well as the issues facing Big Sky basketball. For the men it's record low attendance as a league...for both the men and women it is the increasing difficulty of scheduling home games.

I agree with PBP, Big Sky basketball is in probably the worst position of its existence: poor schedules, poor play, poor attendance.

Just to be clear my position is that the men are in far worse shape than the women. The BSC women's league usually grades out in the middle of the nation in terms of conference strength. They are having issues (like the men) in scheduling non-conference home games.

I've asked the Big Sky in the past if there may be funds available to help schools pay to get better competition to come to places like Pocatello, Flagstaff, Cedar City, Moscow etc. but was told the money simply isn't there.
