For those of you who were in Missoula two years ago the story above relives a nightmare we witnessed in person. Others saw it on TV or heard it on radio or from fans who attended. Worst officiated game I've even seen, I will always feel bad for Aaron Boyce after the ridiculous penalty called on our All-American in 2009. And that wasn't even the worst call made that awful day. So bad the league had to apologize.

What can you say? A PSU loss eliminates them from the playoff hunt, other posts on our blog detail their slim chances even if they beat Weber.

Does the Big Sky need a new commissioner? Enough is enough.

If there ever was a team that didnt need to be screwed over UNC is that team. 1-10 would look a whole lot better than 0-11 and give them something to go into the off-season on a postive note.

What kind of block was it?

It seems like a lot of college refs have decided chop block is their new favorite call. What's weird is that I haven't seen clipping called in like 5 years.

Eastern definitely knows what Northern Colorado is feeling after getting the shaft on a costly bad call, and then getting an apology later from the league office. It seemed that it usually happened to us after a game at Missoula.

I had no idea about this call...WOW...what a tough break for UNC, you never want to see a team go winless. Based on what LDOPA posted in another thread, we bid on a first round playoff game, and possibly have a very slim, but outside shot to get in. PSU being eliminated would have helped us because they would be selected before we would be. If PSU does make the playoffs (which I don't think they will) this call most likely didn't just cost a team a win, it cost a different team a playoff spot.
