Alan, did you go to the Western game Saturday? I mean, hey, now 3-0 in conference with the two big wins being on the road. Playoffs?

I was strongly contemplating that Saturday. Ended up going to Hillsboro after all.

BTW, for those so inclined... it is not positive to avoid the negative. The true positive is in assessing the negative and working to do better. And, yes, I probably watched a lot of the reruns of the 70s Kung Fu series.

You speak wisely, my friend.

However, should you not also state the positives when the positives exist in order to keep harmony in the universe? For as there is not always total positive, there is also not always total negative. Meditate on that, please.

Yes my bride and I drove through the southern 'burbs and on to Monmouth via 99W. A lovely day, great crowd (looked like about 2,500), a lively tail-gate scene, the WOU band, a beer garden, and good food. Game day at WOU is a great experience. The Wolves won big, but sadly the game was non-competitive: https://wouwolves.com/boxscore.aspx?id=3273&path=football.

Although WOU lost in their home opener to Texas @&M Commerce out of the Lone Star Conference, that game played before close to 3,000 on a lovely September day was much better, very well played: https://wouwolves.com/boxscore.aspx?id=3262&path=football

If the weather co-operates we will probably go to the Central Washington game on the the 19th. We really enjoy the game-day atmosphere there.

The GNAC does not get an automatic bid to the D2 playoffs so I doubt the the Wolves make it.
