Congrats to all the ladies for a SPECTACULAR hard fought win!!
Picked as the preseason favorites, they had to make the NCAA's the hard way.
What can you say about Claire...she carried us with her sharpshooting and school and tournament record three point shooting.
Great job by all!!!!!!

Awesome tournament for our ladies. They pulled together as a team at the right time and are now rewarded with a trip to the Big Dance. Congrats to the team and the coaches...but specifically to our seniors, Erin and Claire.

Agreed I am so happy for all but especially the seniors, c and e; what a great way to finish your career. All those back breaking, leg breaking practices have paid off....for the younger kids, they now know what it will take each season to feel that tremendous joy and triumph! Super duper and no we have never beaten Montana 3 times in a season!!!!! Claire (and her supporting cast) made it happen, good job ladies! :D

Clair set new tournament records for 3 point attempts and baskets.

Katy Wade set a new tournament record with 10 blocked shots. Great tournament that was won on the defensive side of the ball.

ratso, you said it...Defense was our key (as were Claire's bukets!) but we played awesome D for 3 full full full
games.

Almost every time the vikings needed a big bucket, #10 was there. She is so damn strong..she hits long range bombs off the dribble.

The girls were so happy after the game..it had been a rough year for both them and their coaches and almost everyone shed a tear or two.

It was a real change to see the platooning of front line players in the tourney. Wade played 26 minutes against ISU which is the most she has played this year. Courtney didn't play a lot of minutes but was very productive when she was in. KV had a great game against Montana.
