Does Weber have the personel to win the Sky? Can the Wildcats make a run on the Championship? For the Cats to be successful they need to learn how to finish and play with more passion and aggression. The two seniors need to step up... Hell, someone needs to step up and play consistently... Panos has looked good, but he needs help.

Personnel to win it all this year, I say yes.

Can they do it? Yes, if they play like they can and how they did in a few of the first halves this year for whole games, then for sure!

The 2 seniors are key, Davis and McCoy both need to be leading this team on the court and in the box scores to give us a chance to host. We can't rely on all these freshmen this year, they are good but they are freshmen.

Panos and Bullinger have looked good, after the last game - Long Beach - Lillard was great! The team played 40 minutes and was very good in the second half.

The rest of OOC wont matter but if they can just be ready for conf it will be all good. It will be nice though to beat SUU, UCSB, & Utah. At AZ will be tough, the MS tournament we should be able to come home 1-1 but I think we'll be the best team there so 2-0 would be great (2 road wins in 2 days). Then go to AZ and bring on conf.

7-6 would be a good OOC record after starting out 2-4. 5-2 before conf would be really good because we have 5 road games left.

If the team competes for the full 40mins I think Weber can hang with anyone. Weber just needed some confidence and desire. I think every game left in the preseason, not to mention in Conference, is definitely winnable (AZ will be an extremely tough test and playing at the Huntsman Center). Lillard, McCoy, Hansen, Bull, and Davis were all very impressive last night. Panos and Morris both played well. Morris needs to find his shot, but once he does... Loooooook out! With him and Panos both playing well, Weber will have something very similar to USU, but with better perimeter shooting. Mahoney, always gives the team quality mins. The Box Score said that Ramos played last night... Did he?

I just got hooked up on this sight! It's nice to see that there are other Weber-holics. To answer the question ....If the Cats play like they played against Long Beach..... Hell yeah they have a good shot. Lillard seemed really composed as a freshman, I hope he's here for the long run.
