Let's hear it for the other Big Sky Conference schools jonesing for a warm weather spring time getaway for the tourney. Phoenix. Las Vegas. I'd jump up and down for either. Even Reno would be an interesting option.

Here's a quote from Coach Adras:

Adras agrees.

"I'm a believer that it should be in Vegas or Phoenix," Adras said.

That might seem self-serving when you consider that Northern Arizona is situated within comfortable driving distance of both locales. But NAU has trouble drawing even 2,000 fans to its home games, making it unlikely the Jacks would have a significant home-court edge in either Phoenix or Las Vegas.

"I just think it works and it makes sense," Adras said. "It's time."

Seems like it would be a very good cost saver for teams in the conference... there seems to be a lot of support for this type of idea, it will be interesting to see if they adopt it or not.
