Big Sky Games in SLC Area

Hey Wildcat fans I'm new to the SLC area and made the wise decision NOT to sign up for cable when I moved. Now that football is starting I'm having thoughts of signing up just for games. Here's my question that will have a HUGE impact on my decision - do any of the cable TV stations carry Big Sky games on any regular occurance? Of course EWU games are most important but I'd still settle for other Big Sky matchups. Unfortunately Dish is out since I cant get a signal where my apartment is...

You can get Altitude on any provider but if you want HD DirecTV is my pick. It is the only station
That shows Big Sky. Online feeds are just about the only way to see all the games.
Get a Weber season ticket for $40 or family pass for $95. We have a good home schedule but no Eags till next year.

First of all, is this your first time living in Utah? if it is welcome to Utah and I hope you enjoy it here.

Secondly, Altitude is your best bet, and I do know that Weber plays 3 tv games this year, @ UNC, @ EWU and MSU all 3 on Altitude.

Altitude broadcasts one Sky game a week. Neither the conference or Altitude have released the official TV schedule, but MSU and WSU show these games on their schedules (all on Altitude):

9/24, WSU @ UNC
10/1, WSU @ EWU
10/22, MSU @ UNC
11/5, MSU @ WSU

Thanks guys. Yes, this is my first time living here. Aside from some rediculous alcohol laws that make no sense its a fine place to live. I definitely have plans to hit up some Weber games thats for sure and I'll be making the trip up to the ISU game. Hope the roads are good in late November. Probably wont spring for the season tickets... Would feel kinda wierd having season tickets to WSU but not EWU haha. But I will be going to see the EWU vs MSU game and actually have tentative plans to go up and see Weber play at EWU later in the year. If we have another crazy playoff run it could be another expensive Winter though...

I got some time to decide still but its looking like it might barely be worth signing up for cable if its cheap enough. If Big Sky TV would up their quality and make it more consistent across the board I'd have no probably paying for it.

I'm way ahead of you there for MSU vs Utah. Don't know yet what my plans are for Weber State games but I'm not one to turn down some good tailgate!

According to the Big Sky Media Guide (pg. 8), these are the only games that will be broadcast on Altitude this season. I'm happy Weber is on 3 times, including 2 road games, but 4 total games is weak.

BOOOOOO

Oh well at least Weber is on 3 times, and I get to watch all 3 games, one in person :-D

Wow thats pretty lame. Probably best to use Big Sky TV. No other stations over cable like KPAX that will carry games?

Funny because I read an article today about people cutting cable and going to internet and the cable execs dont view the internet as a serious threat to their revenues. Shows how out of touch, and how boned these cable companies will be in like 10 years....
