Big Sky poll results

Griz til I die

Over the past 13 weeks, I've previewed every team in the big sky and given my personal prediction on the team and then asked you guys what their record would be. I took the most popular answer given from egriz and the eastern Washington fan forum to different fans perspectives. Based on the fans predictions, here's what the standings in the big sky look like:
1. E. Washington 9-2*
2. Montana 8-3*
3. Cal Poly 8-3*
4. N. Dakota 7-4*
5. Weber St. 7-4
6. N. Arizona 6-5
7. Montana St. 5-6
8. S. Utah 5-6
9. UC Davis 5-6
10. Portland St. 4-7
11. N. Colorado 3-8
12. Sacramento St. 3-8
13. Idaho State 2-9
Ties were broken by strength of schedule. * indicates that team would make the playoffs based on the poll results. Well that's all I got, how do you guys think it looks? Also I wanna thank you eagle nation. You guys were great and honest. I'll be around if you guys wanna talk griz football.

Hard to argue with this... Certainly there'll be one team who people are high on that does poorly and one team that no one expects that'll have a strong season. But on the whole, it's a good estimate.

Schedules are the hardest thing to incorporate into the mix. I could easily see Eastern being the best team in the conference (just my thought), but if Eastern doesn't hit the ground running. The playoffs could be gone by the end of September. There are a few teams in the conference who have outlier schedules that are tricky to navigate. Eastern is one of those teams. We love playing on the road early in the year and there are no gimmes in September.

Thanks for putting this together, seemed like a lot of time and effort for a pretty darn cool result.

Ya, great stuff. Thanks for the work you put into this. I have a feeling it's going to be crowded at the top again. Maybe three teams at 8-3. Time will tell but it will be interesting to see how close these predictions are lined up with what actually happens.

go eags!
