This must be the year of the Eagle! The next five games will tell us a lot more about Eastern, but right now, they are the top team in the conference. Their next few games are all on the road. They play Seattle, San Francisco, Washington, Sam Houston State, and Cal (all road games) the next few weeks. This schedule, if they get through it still intact will really help them in their future road battles in the Big Sky. Also, if the Eagles were to win two or three of the next 5 that would really help their RPI and the conferences. I know a number of Weber State fans don't like Halford, but he is proving to being a far better coach than a lot of us were acknowledging the past few seasons.

I'm not sold on PSU. Their next four games will tell us a lot more about them too. A bit more favorable schedule than the Eagles, with some home games and not as tough programs on the docket, but still some pretty tough games. They play at Portland next, then follow that up with a visit to UC Riverside, a home game against Bakersfield, and finally a road date against San Francisco (Are the Dons paying for these games or are they actually going to hit the road in the future and visit these Big Sky programs. Why can't Weber get any WCC games?). If the Vikings are for real they will split their next four games. Anything less would be a disappointment for their early season success.

We may have lost some talent, but now way this UND team is second to last in the sky or below msu! :bad:
Uni and utah were both good teams and we had one bad loss. UND will make the playoffs.

When I came down to picks 9,10 & 11. It was literally splitting hairs between 3 teams with one D1 win. I feel that Alabama State on a neutral court was probably the least impressive. With the exception of SDSU you have been beat by double digits in every loss. Not sure that UND makes the playoffs, but with how Sac & NAU have been playing this week, anything is possible.
