UND vs UNC Two mediocre teams, home field advantage prevails - UNC
EWU VS MSU Eagles have too much offense and much improved defense - EWU
PSU VS UI It is about time for Idaho to show their potential - VANDALS
NAU VS ISU My guess is that Cookus is still out but Bridge-Gadd is another talent and could be dangerous - ISU
um VS CPSLO Cap Poly is better than given credit for and the Griz are still in flux - CP

That Idaho State / NAU game is a strange one. NAU has been great to terrible with stops in between. Idaho State only has one loss, and it was a very respectable one to Cal. Cal might be a sleeper in the Pac-12 this year as their win in Provo against BYU looks pretty solid after BYU beat Wisconsin at Camp Randall. We'll find out about them on Saturday when Oregon comes to town.

The one pick I disagree with is Cal Poly over UM. I certainly hope you're right, but Cal Poly looked absolutely rank against us and they'd have to improve by a light year defensively to stay in the game with Montana. I'm not sure good Montana is, but I know Cal Poly is pretty bad. We shouldn't have been 53 points better, but that doesn't mean much. I sure didn't like their body language at the end of that game.

UND @ UNCO - Think UNC wins a narrow one here.
NAU @ IDSU - ISU looks ok, but I’ll take NAU.
PRST @ IDAHO - Neither team very good. Going with PSU.
MONT @ CP - UM, but it’ll be a tougher game than Griz expect.

Think Cal Poly has a chance. Yes they fell apart when they were up and driving for another score before the big play vs us. Cal poly lost to #7 Weber by only 7 pts so they can't be as bad as some are saying unless you think #7 Weber isn't that good. I think we got breaks and played outstanding in all three aspects vs Cal Poly.

Idaho State is clobbering NAU and UND (whom they beat last week) is clobbering UNC.

ISU could be a legitimate contender in the Big Sky.

It’s in Pocatello, but yeah, I saw that as well. Maybe it’s actually a bonus we don’t play them this year.
