We are going to surprise a lot of people. These polls are based on last year. This year's team is very different.

I would have put Weber above North Dakota in both polls. :-D

We can't really argue with these polls after the past couple seasons of play. Yes I am optimistic and hopeful, but we haven't seen anything, yet, to prove that Weber deserves to be higher. Our Cats have a far more favorable schedule this season than last, and are experienced. Weber only has two "highly" competitive teams on the road in MSU and SUU, but all the other conference road games are winnable, even though I think ISU will see continued improvement this fall. Weber should end up in the middle of the pack by the end. Really that would be a HUGE achievement if that were to happen for the Cats. Anything more would be a gigantic bonus.
