1: Weber State - Reigning Champs
2: Eastern Washington - young and experienced team. Tyler Harvey...need I say more?
3: Northern Arizona - Big man away from being scary good. Murphy is a great recruiter.
4: Sacramento State - Best team the Hornets have seen since become a DI program. Garrity and Mckinney...
5: Montana - Lots of losses in the offseason, biggest being Tinkle. Very talented program still
6: Northern Colorado - Lost some great veterans, their top two players, but still extremely talented
7: Idaho State - Bengals are a PG and C away from becoming a top conference program. Is Fox the answer? lol
8: Idaho - I really don't know what to expect from the Vandals. They could shake it up a bit.
9: UND - I'm not impressed with the coaching staff. Talented but limited.
10: MSU - New coach, same results...he is getting the foundation set.
11: PSU - I might have to eat my words on this, but Geving just isn't very good and they don't have a big.
12: SUU - Robinson will get more than 1 win this season, but it won't get him out of the cellar.

The Sky is very even. There is a lot of parity in the conference this year. I think it is better and will be more competitive (that is the hope at least) and feel that the overall RPI should improve. 1-6 are somewhat even. Talent splits them up. 7-11 are very balanced...12 isn't miles away. They are improving.

Here is my picks.
1. Weber State
2. Eastern Washington
3. Sacramento State
4. Northern Arizona
5. Northern Colorado
6. Portland State
7. Montana
8. Idaho State
9. Idaho
10. Montana State
11. North Dakota
12. Southern Utah

I think 1-4 has a good chance to win the conference. 5-7 Could scare some teams and win some games. 8-12 will all struggle to make the conference tournament. I think we got lucky not having to go to PSU and Sac. St. PSU has really good guards and I think playing in their arena is hard. Sac St. has the best 1-2 combination in the conference and the nest is a tough place to play too. If I had to pick the most likely team to win it all besides WEBER, its got to be EWU. Other than Harvey, they have other very good players with lots of experience, size etc. The one thing about EWU that will hold them back is their coach. From what I have watched as a fan, some of the things EWU does makes me really scratch my head. Remember their 3 man weave to stall? WTF is that? DUMB!!!! They should have made the tournament last year with the team they had. Anyway, now that its clear that my WAZZU football sucks nuts again, its time to focus on my other love. WEBER HOOPS!!! Cant wait.

1. THE Weber State University
2. Sac State
3. Eastern Washington
4. Northern Arizona
5. Idaho State (All because of Ian Fox and his mad skillz during the 5 minutes he gets per game.)
6. Northern Colorado
7. Portland State
8. Idaho
9. Montana - Losing Tinkle is bigger than we first thought.
10. Montana State
11. SUU
12. North Dakota - Brian Jones had loads of talent last year and they weren't as close as their 2ndplace finish would suggest. Just wait and see what happens when he has very little talent.

Here's my shot in the dark. Really won't be too surprised if Weber doesn't win the conference, given what they lost and their youth (good thing this conference is terrible). They are probably most talented but there might be some growing pains. I see Sac St and E Wash being pretty good. After that, I think it's a crap shoot.

1 WSU
2 Sac
3 EWU
4 NAU
5 UM
6 UI
7 UNC
8 ISU
9 PSU
10 UND
11 MSU
12 SUU

If Ian is getting 5 minutes per they shouldn't crack the top ten....
