Big Sky Tournament Hopes

Looks like there are only two options for Weber to finish in the top 8 and make the conference tourney -- a win over EWU on Sat or a SUU loss to Portland St.
From what I can tell, Weber losses all the possible tie-breakers:
head-to-head with SUU 0-2
combo with SUU, and Portland St 0-3
combo with SUU, Portland St, and Idaho 1-4
Weber really needed Sac St to take down SUU last night. Good on SUU for grabbing that victory.
Hopefully Weber can pull out the victory tomorrow night.

Yes that is the key. I think we have a good shot if we play tough D on Harvey and Jois. Defending in the paint is my biggest concern. But I think we can do it.

What a shame we are talking about getting in the tourney instead of hosting the tourney. I hope the the real influencers out there know what a disaster this season has been. This is the Montana Grizzly football version of a 4-8 season

Looks like BSC Men's tournament schedule Thursday has Montana vs. Weber St @ 8pm Mtn. (last of 4 games).

Wildcat's chances for victory = slim to none, but upsets do happen in the tournaments. Real tough for the Wildcats to beat the Grizzlies @ Missoula. Likely one & done, but the positive is the "young" team gets one more game experience & in a tournament setting (& before a hostile crowd). Would love to see Montana get beat out, if not by Wildcats, then by Eastern Washington or Sacramento State!!!

At least Montana, if they win it all, or whoever wins, won't have to worry about getting stuck playing Syracuse (the nightmare NCAA meeting--beating of the Grizzlies of 2013)! Just hope it's not another embarrassing thrashing for whoever gets to dance from the Big Sky. Weber St. made up for that last year with a great showing against #1 seed Arizona, by the way. :twocents:
