All I can say is, hope it comes to fruition. About damn time!!! And you need to have all the schools there too. Have to make it a celebration of the season. That way you get all the student bodies, the pep bands, cheerleaders, etc.

Who says they would have home court? Besides, they cant draw flies at home, you'd think their fan base would come in droves? The only thing holding our fan base back is the lack of a real arena to play in. Get that, we'd have better recruits and put one heck of a team on the floor year in and out.

That might seem self-serving when you consider that Northern Arizona is situated within comfortable driving distance of both locales. But NAU has trouble drawing even 2,000 fans to its home games, making it unlikely the Jacks would have a significant home-court edge in either Phoenix or Las Vegas.
Read the effing article SH. :shake:

It would be awesome to have it in Vegas and I sure as hell hope this happens. I agree all schools would have to be invited so more tickets can be sold and revenues can be increased so the Vegas rent can be paid. Downside is it makes the regular season completely meaningless. (I actually like the fact that the bottom third of the conference is withheld from the conference tournament.) Other downside it the WCC, WAC and MWC already have their tournament in Vegas so the BSC competing with either the WCC or MWC is a losing proposition.

I would think they could rotate between cities that are closer to the bulk of the BSC. Rotate between Sac (if a new arena is ever built), Portland, SLC, and Denver (all these cities are in driving distance of schools or have an airport that should allow BSC fans to fidn affordable flights) or any other combination thereof. I ruled out Phoenix (south of the most southern BSC school) and Spokane (no thanks) just because I felt like it. :twocents:
