BigSky Week 12 Predictions Big Games BAM!!!

Several big games this weekend. Should be good TV. Please review the Playoff bracket thread for insight on how the BigSky will shakeout for the playoff's and seeding. It's a good thread for the bracketology challenged.

Montana State at Montana This could be a 6 -9 sort of game. Expect whoever turns the ball over twice to lose. Montana at home will be tough to overcome especially if Ifanse is still out for the Kats

Idaho at Idaho State Bengals still choking on late loss to Cal Poly. Pocatello is more scenic, so going with ISU

Northern Colorado at Weber State Jay Hill takes up modern dance and manages to coach Weber to the win against the Flying McCaffery's.

Eastern Washington at Portland State (see other thread, NO ONE is picking against Eastern this week..NO ONE)

Northern Arizona at Cal Poly Looking at the recruiting last year CP had a good class... They aren't ready yet. NAU

Sacramento State at UC Davis Holy Cow! A lot on the line for both teams. Will Sac be scoreboard watching to see what happens with the Kats? Haven't seen much of Sac St this season, know TT will have them ready to play and without a better offensive game plan it will be difficult for Davis to win this game. Hate that Eastern is out of the mix for a conference title but Sac likely takes this one home.

Montana State at Montana I watched MSU play Idaho and they were not anywhere near the same team without Ifanse, who killed us when we played them. If MSU is still without their top 2 backs they’re going to have a hard time beating UM on the road. Going with Montana 17-14.

Idaho at ISU: Idaho is really bad, but light years better than ISU who are completely hapless. Idaho 38-17.

Northern Colorado at Weber State: Not much to see here. Weber is the best ~500 team in the FCS and will have no problem with UNC at home. WSU 42–10.

Northern Arizona at Cal Poly: Interesting game and CP has a little confidence after their win last week. It won’t be enough to get them another win at home. NAU 35-21.

Sacramento State at UC Davis: This is a 50/50 game for me and I will give Davis the slight edge at home. I’m also not totally sold on Sac. They’re good, but have had the benefit of not playing any of the top teams in the conference until this weekend. For Davis, a loss here might put their playoff hopes at risk. I think Hawk and company find a way to win this one at home, but it should be a very close game. UC Davis 31-28.

I'd have to imagine the playoff committee is rooting for Montana State over Montana. If Montana wins- which I sort of think they will, it'll cause pure chaos in the selections. UC Davis winning would create a mess as well, and both happening changes the dynamic in a big way after the final game.

That said, the only game that matters to me is beating Portland State. Take care of that business properly, and the road is paved and we've got good visibility of our path.

Davis and Montana winning (which I think happens) would be chaos…it would give the big sky 4, 9-2 teams all ranked in the top 10. I think we see 3 seeds in that case…maybe 4

Ifanse plays MSU wins...hold it at UM and refs are sometimes slanted...calling it a 9 OT game as heavy snow makes game unwatchable with accompinging fog and both teams claim wins becuse the refs sucked.
Hope Idaho losses just because so they will win.
Weber is a good team and UNC isn't resulting in a WSU win.
Cal Poly pulls out another very close victory to end their season on a good note.
UC Davis at home vs Sac State and both teams are really good. They are 20.4 miles and a 30 minute drive apart. Both have so much at stake and temp will be 66 as a high and 44 as a low for this 1pm kickoff. No fog but plenty of hitting. I like UC Davis in this one because of their Redshirt Freshman Dlineman CHUBBA MAAE who at 6'2 347 lbs enjoys playing the flut on one leg, slow dancing on the beach, warm ice cream, served as a part-time math tutor for his teammates and volunteered with entities such as Miller Children’s Hospital, Police Academy Community Training and Councilman Dee Andrews’ annual Thanksgiving meal.

Wildman. Those are as good a reasons as any. Agree is Ifanse is in the lineup I like the Kats chances. I think we saw Davis struggle without their junior QB Hunter Rodrigues. Not sure still why Pufnstuf didn't play Tompkins more, kid is a dynamic runner.

Kennesaw up 35-10 over Monmouth... 3rd quarter. Montana looks pretty good, Cam is tightening up though.... Not sure I care for the Griz announcers, definitely a couple of Monday morning qb's.

griz up 13-3... knowing they usually constrict the other team as the game goes on, you have to like their chances to finish this one off. Still early though.

What a play by um on that fake fg...heads up play he knocked the ball outta the holders hand they they ran it back for TD...lol
