Dixie State at Montana -Griz rebound even with the backup QB in. How fast was the front 7? What a game ;-)
UC Davis at Idaho State -The paper bungles get Davis'd. I think UC Davis QB Rodrigues is hurt but it shouldn't matter. Interestingly Davis D is ranked in the 90's but is 15th in scoring allowed. Talk about bend but don't break ;)
Cal Poly at Montana State -How good are the Kats? Better than the ponies.
Portland State at Idaho -Have no idea about either of these teams, hate PSU more and Idaho hung with UC Davis last week. Coin flip for me. Statistically similar.
Southern Utah at Sacramento State -SUU could surprise on the road, but fully expect Sac St to win this contest.

Eastern is light-years better talent-wise than UNC, but Greeley has been a place where we've required some miracles to escape before. We damn near lost in 2010. We needed a game-winning FG with no time left to win another year (2015? Can't remember for sure). The win-loss record against UNC looks a lot better than it otherwise might, given we've found ways to stink up the joint and get lucky at the end.

If Eastern plays well, this should be a comfortable win. An emotional letdown would be another story, as UNC has at least shown the capacity to be good in stretches this season.

If form holds, the only game that is a toss-up is Portland State vs Idaho. All the rest feature a clear top-half-of-the-conference team against a bottom-half team.

Montana
Davis
MSU
Idaho
Sac St.

Random thought after looking at that Massey report: EWU will be ready for a bye 10/30 after the Weber game and before the Montana St, UC Davis and PSU to finish league.

Wow! Bungles win, bungles win, bungles win! Good for them and good for the Eagles. How bad is CP? I tried watching the 4th quarter against Kats to get a feel for the Kats but all I could watch was the slow motion train wreck of the CP offense... Biggest question is what the heck will Eastern be facing with Idaho next week. Know absolutely nothing about that team except they've had the Eagles number lately. Disgustingly so. Will attempt to watch the PSU v Idaho replay before the game.

So proud of the Eagles coming out and putting it to the Bears early. No hangover.
