I hadn't read up on McDermott but he's pretty good. The writer had some very interesting comments about Damian.

 :thumb: :notworthy: Excellent article.

Nice find. Dame is just now starting to look really comfortable after coming back from the injury. I think that the best is yet to come. :thumb:

This guy knows what he is talking about. Great article on all 3 guards, and it is nice that he pointed out that all three of those guys aren't just black holes like a guy that played about 100 miles south of Ogden. :notworthy:

dame has attempted fewer shots per game than the entire top 6 which is pretty impressive considering he averages 3 ppg more than most of them.

Yep, he is leading the nation in ORtg, another good way to measure efficiency. No matter how you look at it, Lillard has been awesome this year!
Absolutely, and to be honest, it's making me real nervous he won't be back next season. If he keeps it up at this pace to finish the season, the NBA will likely be calling. But who could blame him for going if it came to that?

If Dame is guaranteed a 1st round pick he needs to take it and go. There are too many unknowns to sports. Which means we Wildcat fans need to attend as many games this year as possible because he could be gone.

Boo this man. But seriously, unless we win a game in the NCAAs he'll be back because he won't be a 1st rounder & he'll want to break all the records at WSU. Almost everyone returns next season and he could have a killer year. The team next season could potentially be a whole lot better if we can get a JC that could replace Bullinger.

No need for a Juco, Davion Berry will be replacing Bullinger and is the REAL DEAL...

Lucky for us this upcoming draft is by far the deepest in 15 years, and does not compare with this last summers draft which was very weak. Jimmer went from a 2nd rounder to a lottery pick by playing his Senior year. Lillard will be playing with some of his best friends from Oakland his Senior year with Berry, Rich, & Otis....

Ouch... don't get me wrong, I would love to see Damian as a senior, and as a fan hope he stays, but if he gets a NBA team telling him he is their guy 1st round he should think about going (Arceneaux should have left his junior season too, Joe screwed up his NBA chances). You all make good points, deep draft and playing with his friends, etc. So there are compelling reasons why he should stay. I just think we should be (and we all are) grateful for the games we get to watch Lillard play this year.

I'd like to think that WSU trying so hard to get him that extra year back would play into his decision making. However, if he does finish strong and gets a lot of interest as a possible first-round this year, anyone would do what is right for himself and his family. I'd be disappointed, but nobody would have the right to be bitter.

Usually, These things come down to if a player get some kind of first round guarentee. First rouond picks get a no cut clause for the first three years in the NBA. Second round picks get a lot less money and no guarentees on being cut. A player can opt to be in the draft and then later withdraw, as long as they have not hired an agent. Some players will do that just to see if they can get some assurances of being a first rounder. I don't think Dame would leave school for a second round situation. Right now, all of the projectiions are that he would be a second round pick. :coffee:
