Bo Bolen

Loved the article. Do you know why Bolen didn't play last week? Was he injured or was it just the coach's decision?

From what I understand it's his quad. When I spoke with him yesterday he said it hard to even walk. Hope he has a speedy recovery. Being on the sidelines is no way to spend your senior year.

I wouldn't be surprised if Hill holds Bolen and Wilcox both out this weekend. Yes, it would be nice to win in Texas on Saturday, but I'm sure coach would rather have two starters healed up and ready to go for Conference than sending them out too early for an OOC game. Having them both out really affected our offensive ability to run the ball.

By the way, great write up Brandon!! Love the work you are doing at the Standard! Best stuff in quite some time.

Hey folks,

Here's my latest -- a piece on senior running back Bo Bolen who reflects on his career and experiencing the coaching fiasco.

http://www.standard.net/Sports/2014/09/16/WSU-senior-running-back-reflects-on-his-time-at-Weber.html

I'd love to hear your feedback as well as any ideas you may have for a story that you'd like to see.

Thanks, and go 'Cats :thumb: !

How about some hoops coverage. Jay Hill and this pathetic fball program has lost my attention with the loss to the one and only Jody Sears and the mighty Hornets. If its 0-3, it sounds like Weber football, baby.

Bball Who has been in on official and unofficial visits? Your Riley Court article was good, but he's not going to be playing for 3 years. How many spots are we going to fill? How are the JC guys (Golden, Coston) looking from the coaches perspective? I understand if you want to save this for October, but man Weber football is beyond dismal.

Was wondering when we were going to get WeberSki's annual bitchfest about the football program.

Good hell Weberski, you are such a A$$ clown! How about giving Jay Hill and this new staff some time to get things turned around. Once again you have lived up to your reputation as the biggest jerk on the fan board.

The more we can read about WSU football & basketball, the better. Now, Weberski might really go off-- I'd like to hear a little about women's bball too. Their maturing youth might be poised to start turning that dismal program around too. Anything that helps keep Weber in the President's Cup mix is a good thing.

I'm good with hearing about other programs during THEIR own season. Right now it's football and soccers turn. :twocents:
