Wow...one of their leading scorers...done for the season. You never want to see this happen to a kid, hopefully MSU can sort through this matter and no other athletes were involved, and hopefully Blount is ok.

Tough couple months for the Montana schools, hopefully these things are taken care of, press like this is never good for the school or the conference, regardless of what happened.

From what I've read, 3 other athletes were involved... two football players and a track guy. This pretty much makes MSU's backwards slide irreversible, and almost guarantees we make the BSC tourney. They're only a half game ahead of us at the moment.

If so, and I have no idea if it actually is so, this would be a repeat of what happened at Idaho State a few years back when some ISU basketball guys got denied access to a party and started a fight at the door and got the crap stomped out of them by some football players who were inside.

Still not sure if the athletes beat themselves up or not, story is still unclear, but with the fact that one of the football players was charged with assault it appears so....all 4 of these guys were studs...minter and trammell on the football team, blount on the bball team...and Wilson in track.
