Bozeman Cats take two

So the Cats are playing on Wednesday night against the MSU kitties. Currently, State is experiencing the annual free for all under Huse (if he is back next year, I will be amazed) and have recently been defeated by the Cubbies of UNCO. A game played to overtime in Greeley. So, this is forcing the kitties of Bozeman against the wall. They are going to come out ready to play on Wednesday. The Cats have got to come prepared and ready to go. Weber cannot afford to drop this game.

Actually in terms of the conference race they can. As long as they don't lose both this and the game at UNC, all that matters is that they win in Missoula. But what the hell, might as well win em all.

Yep, 02 is correct. While Weber will beat the kitties by about 49 points, you could lose the game and it won't hurt you as long as you don't lose another. Likewise, Montana could lose one of their two remaining games prior to the Weber game (msu, nau) and the final game will still be for all the marbles due to tie-breakers.

Yeah, Montana and Weber are both in the same boat. Both can afford to drop one as long as they win the showdown on the 28th.

msu has lost 5 straight.

Montana State forward Xavier Blount’s season may be over after altercation.

he has played in every game and is/was their leading scorer

I was just about to post this. Our next game is against MSU, right? I hope the young man is okay, but this just goes to show that some things are or should be off-limits to players during the season. Looks like a case of bad judgement.

Not only was he seriously injured but he was also cited for disorderly conduct and minor in possession of alcohol. I think it's safe to say he won't be playing Wed.

Yep Blount is likely done for the year, and who knows if there will be repercussions from the University beyond that.

I saw MSU in person Saturday, and I can't imagine that it will be much of a game tomorrow night. They have lost five straight and seem a little lost. They started out playing well, and then just got real tentative and could not create any offense against a mediocre defensive team in UNC.

We need a victory here, we cannot afford to lose this game, people say we can as long as we win in Missoula, but if we cant win in Bozeman, what makes anybody think we will win in Greeley?

EVERY GAME, is a must win from here on out.

Mine is working. Make sure you press play in the MSU icon. Or try closing it and starting over.
