UTA is 15-5, no losses since dec 20, 7-0 in conf. all "good" losses, one "bad" loss. overall pretty similar. i was hoping for a wac. both uta and usu both beat kent state in logan. stew said kent was very tired and didnt bring their A game. but regardless, kent is their best win.

in the mid major top 25 we are now 17th, UTA is 19th.

It's not a bad matchup, after Saturday, I am looking at the following to be thankful:
1. It is one of the 13 premier (televised) games on ESPN for the weekend.
2. Their record is 15-5, ours 16-4.
3. UT-A has no big top 50 wins
4. Damian will be a headline on ESPN leading up to the game, and will bring some publicity for the Wildcats.

I'm ok with this choice, better than not being even mentioned.

This is not a bad game for us. We recruit that area a lot and a trip down there next year isn't going to hurt us at all. It'll be a good game up here and a good game down there. It could be an ice breaker between the two programs, who knows?

I remember, not so long ago, when people were saying the same things about us Playing Lamar in the NCAAs.

arlington is only 26 miles from the town jrich grew up in though his family moved to the bay area.

Bengal visitor,

Please don't come on here and state the obvious... Thats like me stating that you are 7-14...

Good thing it's a home game, I would hate to have to pay to watch it online.

This is what we get for losing to a team like Idaho State, internet only feed.

Interesting match-up. Well, at least Weber was able to "snag" a game highlighted by ESPN. I'd rather be on internet than nothing, but still. What could have been? UTA's last loss was to USU in the Cheese Classic. That gives me hope, but it was a close game, I think 73-69.

you dont have to pay to watch espn 3 as long as you have the right ISP. goto a college campus, Xbox live if you have it. if not come out to the game!!! lol
