I realize we have to win the conference tourney to get here but....

Lunardi today has Weber as a 15 seed, playing Baylor in Albuquerque in the first round. After Saturday's games, it might be better than playing Missouri ( where he had Weber last week).

Fun to conjecture.....

We NEED to go undefeated and beat a good bracket buster team to get any higher.

Only Weber State and Montana have RPI's higher than 200

yes. if we can keep the W's coming in we can improve our stock. in 2003 we lost to a DII team and got a 12 seed. :shocking: :yikes: :o  :-D it also helped that we had 26 wins.

Yeah, it is going to be tough without any really good wins in non-conference play (WSU fans should be cheering for Utah State, as it turns out). Getting a good Bracket Buster matchup and winning would be huge! I plan to take a bit deeper look into this in the next week or so, but I think if they can climb up to 13/14 it would be huge. They have a good chance I would think if they could come close to winning out.

If, and this is a big if, Weber can win out, then I think there is no way Weber gets anything worse than a 14. I wouldn't doubt a 12 or 13.

Regardless, there is still a lot of basektball left to be played. Gotta look at this one game at a time. Can't get to ahead of ourselves.

Rush The Court Blog has Weber at 15 seed playing at Greensboro in round one vs. (wait for it)

DUKE !!
