bracketology

15 or 14 is probably the best they can do. They might slide up a little if there are some sub 500 teams winning their conferences. I agree, though, time to get BOTH the regular season and tournament championship. GO VIKS!

I will definately be rooting for some sub-.500 teams to pull upsets and get auto bids. I want to avoid that darned play-in game. Moving off the 16 line would be a huge plus, as well.

Here's a fun game for those of you who aren't superstitious. Which top ranked team would you most want to play in the first round, assuming we'd probably face a top 10 team? Memphis is scary, but their free throw shooting is sooo bad that I might take my chances with them if I had to pick my poison. We've already played UCLA and we know how that went.

Hm, top 10...I don't see any options that wouldn't be totally pants-wetting scary. But upsetting UNC would be awesome.

I'd really like to play Oregon in the Big Dance. Oh wait, they probably won't make it. Well, then how about Oregon State? Oops, nowhere near a playoff berth! Looks like we are the only team in Oregon that doesn't suck. /users/31/07/37/smiles/580819.gif

NO way PSU goes to the play-in game. There are too many bad leagues like the SWAC, NE Conference and MEAC that are worse than the BSC. The Big Sky is currently ranked #21 out of 31 leagues, putting PSU out of that danger zone.

I agree, the conference RPI is too strong to be in much danger this season.

Hey dudes,
Is there any way we can hook up with any of you dudes when we come up to Portland for the Big Sky tournament. We need some ideas of what we can do up there since nobody coming has ever been there. Will you send me some stuff at [email protected].

Also, your team is the only team that is capable of a fist round NCAA upset in my oppinion. There is no way in hell that you would be considered a 16 seed going into the NCAA's.

All this bracket talk is little early for me. I would say PSU, Weber St. or Montana (I hate to say that) all have a good chance of winning the tournament, as the Viks aren't head and shoulders above either. Saying that, I like the leadership the Viks have at point guard in Dominguez, that's really important for the tourney. Go Viks!

We might be head and shoulders above them after the whooping we're laying on them tonight!

Ya coming from Ogden, UT. I am friends with Purple Haze. The plan is to head outta here on Monday since it's Weber Spring Break. Then head home Thursday...and hopefully not head home on Wednesday morning

Who ever said PSU/WSU/UM are the only schools with a chance to win it all is way off! UM has done it a couple times lately but not this year not aftet the demorilization/beatdown/embarresment/"A" kicking they had from the Vik's yesterday.

I'll go with either PSU/WSU/NAU to make it. WSU hasn't beat NAU yet this year, and PSU is on fire so...I just hope if it's PSU going all the way, they better be beating my team in the championship game and NOT NAU!! Also it would be awesome for the Vik's beating WSU, WSU hasn't yet lost to PSU in the conferenc tournament. I guess that is the one thing we have going for us. That and I believe we are the only team left that hasn't been blown out by you.

We are coming from Utah. Yes we are die hard Weber State fans, but I just want to make sure the champions are either WSU or PSU.

Yeah, we are coming from Ogden. Anyway, I don't think anyone, except ISU, should be worried about montana. I'm worried about Montana State, once, and if, that team is taken care of it then changes to NAU. As for montana, that team is not playing very well right now, but for some strange reason they play exceptionally against ISU, so who knows. I'm sure that PSU will beat them though, if the Grizz do happen to beat the Bengals.

UM v ISU.

UM has a knack for getting it done in the BSC tourney, and this year shouldn't be different. ISU does have the pure anger from that blown call the other night to drive them. ISU will have to shoot really well to win that game. Not having a true point guard hurts.
